Frequently asked questions
Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email and no cloud profile. Open the app, create your character and start playing. Everything is stored on your device.
Does BLOSOM AI really work without internet?
Yes — offline is the default, not a fallback. Tasks, checklists, recurring tasks, XP, levels, coins, quests, the adventure map, collection, achievements, statistics, the calendar, mini-games, customization, local notifications, settings and Pip, the AI companion, all work in airplane mode.
Is BLOSOM AI free?
BLOSOM AI is planned to be free to download. Core checklist features will always be useful without paying. If we add purchases later, they'll be optional extras like cosmetics or additional worlds — never pay-to-win.
When does it launch, and on which devices?
BLOSOM AI is coming to iPhone and Android. We don't have a date to share yet. You can join the waitlist on this site, or try the web preview in your browser today.
How does the waitlist on this website work?
The waitlist form saves your email only in your browser's local storage, on the device you used. It is not sent to us or anyone else. You can remove it at any time with the “Remove my email” link, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Pip, your offline AI
Does the AI need internet?
No. Pip, the AI companion in BLOSOM AI, runs entirely on your device — Magic Add, Plan My Day, Goal → Quest and coaching all work in airplane mode.
On supported iPhones with iOS 26 or later, Pip uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models. On other iPhones and on Android, it uses a local engine built into the app. Either way, nothing you type to Pip is sent to a server.
Where are my conversations with Pip stored?
Only on your device, in the app's private storage, together with the rest of your game. We never receive them, so we can't read them, share them or use them to train anything. Deleting the app deletes them too. See our privacy policy.
Can Pip get things wrong?
Sometimes — it's a small model running on your phone. Pip always shows you the tasks it suggests before anything is added, so you can edit, skip or delete them. You're in charge of your list.
Backups & devices
How do I back up my progress?
Go to Settings → Data → Export Backup. BLOSOM AI saves your whole game — player, tasks, quests, inventory, achievements and statistics — as a single file with the .awana extension. Keep it somewhere safe, like your files app, a computer or a cloud drive of your choice.
What is an .awana file?
It's BLOSOM AI's backup format: a structured file containing your saved game. It lives wherever you put it and is never uploaded by us. Anyone who has the file can read what's in it, so treat it like any other personal file.
I got a new phone. How do I move my game?
Export a backup on your old phone, move the .awana file to the new phone (AirDrop, a cable, email to yourself or a cloud drive all work), then open BLOSOM AI and choose Settings → Data → Import Backup. Before anything is replaced, we'll warn you that importing may replace your current local progress, and you can cancel.
I deleted the app. Can you restore my progress?
Unfortunately not. Because BLOSOM AI doesn't send your data to any server, we never have a copy. If you exported an .awana backup before deleting, you can import it after reinstalling. That's why we recommend exporting a backup now and then.
Streaks & progress
What happens to my streak if I miss a day?
Streaks follow your device's local date. If a day passes without completing a streak task, the streak resets according to that task's rules. Your XP, coins, items and achievements are never taken away.
Why didn't I get a daily reward twice when I changed my phone's clock?
Daily rewards are tied to unique calendar dates, so changing the clock won't grant the same reward again. We never delete legitimate progress because of a date change — we just avoid handing out duplicates.
Do mini-games affect my tasks?
Mini-games are completely optional. They reward XP, coins and the occasional item, but they never block or replace your real-life tasks.
Can I turn off notifications, sounds or animations?
Yes. Notifications can be switched off by type (tasks, daily challenge, streaks, quests) or all at once. Music, sound effects and haptics each have their own toggle. BLOSOM AI also respects your system's reduced-motion and text-size settings, and offers light and dark mode.

Include your device model, your OS version and the BLOSOM AI version (in Settings → About), plus what you expected to happen. Screenshots help a lot. Please don't send your .awana backup unless we ask for it.
